Service and Repair of Most Nitro and Gas RC engines
This is a vintage standard analog servo that was popular in the mid-to-late 1980s and 1990s. Known for introducing an “indirect drive” potentiometer to resist vibration and shock, it is long discontinued but frequently surfaces as a “New Old Stock” (NOS) item or salvaged pulled from vintage RC gliders and sport airplanes.
Strict voltage limits:
Do not plug this servo into modern 6.0V, 6.6V (LiFe), or 7.4V/8.4V (LiPo) power sources; the internal legacy analog amplifier cannot handle the over-voltage and will burn out.
Should be used with a voltage regulator.
