The Super Tigre G2300 MK II (part number SUPG0248) is a highly popular, large-displacement 2-stroke glow engine. The Mark II version shifted production from Italy to China, featuring a more standardized manufacturing process and shipping natively with a distinct three-piece adjustable silencer muffler
Displacement: 1.40 cu in (23.2 cc).Bore & Stroke: 1.280 in (32.5 mm) bore x 1.102 in (28.0 mm) stroke.
Power Output: 3.7 hp @ 12,600 rpm. This gives it an exceptionally high power-to-weight ratio for its class, actually generating more peak horsepower than the larger G3250 engine.
Weight: 31.0 oz (897 g) without muffler; 37.65 oz (1,073 g) with the stock muffler assembly.
Propeller Selection: The engine works across a wide RPM band. Recommended flight props include 18×6, 18×8, and 18×10. Sport flyers often prefer a wood or composite 18×6 for rapid throttle acceleration response.
Crucial Fuel Exception: Unlike Super Tigre’s larger big-block variants (like the S2000 or G3250), the G2300 engine construction demands a significantly higher oil ratio. You must use fuel containing no less than 18% oil volume to protect the crankpin and internal mechanics.
Nitro Mix: Keep nitro content low at 0% (FAI fuel) to 5% nitro. Excessive nitro induces erratic idling and severe mid-range transition hesitation.
